- A key piece of evidence was thrown off the court and the CSIs have 24 hours to re-investigate or Michael Fife will walk away.
- It was discovered that Fife was framed by Gary Quinn, the true culprit of raping Rachel Lyford. Quinn used the knife to smash the tail-light to frame Fife. Quinn was arrested and found guilty. Fife was relieved to hear that he was framed.
