Plot Overview

A young hitchhiker, who is apparently an illegal immigrant, is taken to CHP Headquarters by Jon and Ponch after he commandeers a car with a pipe bomb. Although the bomb turns out to be phony, the young man poses a very real threat as he seems to be carrying a communicable disease. The precinct is under quarantine for two weeks, which means that Jon, Getraer, Sindy, Grossman, Baricza and a pair of prisoners, are stuck together. They work with Ponch on the outside to try to solve the mystery of just what the boy is suffering from and where he was going when he was captured.
