Plot Overview

Through a series of clever maneuvers, Ponch is able to get the day off that he needs to have for a visit from a beautiful flight attendant, but the arrival of another 'guest', a vengeful thief whom he's scheduled to testify against, leads to him and the girl being held hostage in his own apartment. At the precinct, Bobby and Kathy bring in a couple of runaways whom they caught hitch-hiking. They claim to be in love and that they ran away because their parents didn't understand, so the two officers give them a 'reality check' about their situation. Kathy is also the recipient of flowers from a secret admirer, and she's very much surprised when she discovers who he is. The officers and Getraer also prepare for an inspection from hard-nosed Captain Burke.
