Plot Overview
Sgt. Getraer's daughter is among the members of a group protesting the opening of a nuclear power plant, which causes no end of headaches for him, as he has to have her arrested when their protest gets out of hand. Ponch becomes concerned about a young traffic accident victim when he discovers unusual bruises on the boy's back that weren't caused by the accident. Harlan announces that he's leaving the CHP garage to become an LAPD officer, only to be razzed by the officers about his short stature.
