Plot Overview

A husband and wife team of thieves steal a rare bell from a church prior to their Christmas mass, and also con a family out of their car and presents. A drunk driver literally falls into the lap of the CHP. Ponch has a heart-to-heart talk with his visiting mother about his accident and dangerous choice of career. Getraer has his hands full trying to find officers who are willing to work on Christmas day.

It's the easiest bust of a drunken driver they ever made...he pulls into the CHP headquarters, thinking it's a gas station, and asks Jon, Ponch and Getraer to fill his tank and clean his windows!
