Plot Overview
A Mexican holiday for Burke and his companion soon turns into a nightmare when the boat he charters explodes, killing a controversial gossip columnist as well as a beloved local. Amos is arrested for the murders, and it appears to be an airtight frame, but Henry, who's also along for the trip, breaks his boss out of jail and also sends for Les and Tim. While the Mexican police are searching for the good Captain, he's running around trying to find out who framed him from a group of fellow guests at the hotel: a haughty author, a Nazi who's in hiding, an anthropologist posing as a 'voodoo lady', and a sexy lady sailor. Ultimately, when two people fall ill from alkali poisoning--one of them Burke's female companion--that gives him the answer to solve this case.
