Plot Overview
Macon breaks jail and goes to help McCord, only to wind up being captured himself. McCord is then forced to fight the Apache's best warrior in a duel to the death, the winner of which goes on to fight Macon is a similar duel. McCord tries to make Macon see that he has something to live for, but Macon forces himself onto McCord's knife, choosing to die rather than fight the unjust desertion charges.
