Plot Overview
When two young brothers named Tim and Robbie, whose parents abandoned them at an orphanage in Virginia City, are rejected for adoption by a prospective couple due to Robbie's mutism, the boys run away from the orphanage and hide out at the cabin of elderly widower Jonathon May, who takes them in and quickly bonds with them. Ben and Griff soon get involved when Jonathon, a friend of Griff's, is told by the orphanage's director that he cannot adopt the boys due to his age.
