Beane's of Boston is an American remake of the popular UK sitcom Are You Being Served?
The show is nearly identical to its British counterpart in terms of characters, both their names and personalities. The notable exception is Franklin Beane, nephew of the store's owner/namesake Mr. Beane, with the show more focused on him as the primary character than on the floor staff.
