Baggy Pants and the Nitwits is an animated comedy series that aired on NBC.
Baggy Pants was an anthropomorphic cat dressed as and patterned after Charlie Chaplin. The Nitwits were cartoon versions of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In characters Tyrone and Gladys, voices by their original actors from the show.
An animated Tyrone appeared a season earlier on The Pink Panther Laugh-&-A-Half Hour-&-A-Half Show in a blackout segment with series component character Misterjaw (also voiced by Arte Johnson).
