|On January 4, 2015, I will be shutting down the server that hosts The TV IV website. It has been a very long time since I've been able to put any decent amount of time into the site, and ad revenue is plummeting. I think it is time to shut it down or hand it off to someone who can keep it going properly. If you are interested in taking over the site's code and data, contact administrators at tviv.org. --CygnusTMtalk|
Back to the Future
Back to the Future (1991–1992) is an animated science fiction series based on the Back to the Future film series. Taking place after the events of Back to the Future Part III, the cartoon followed the time-traveling exploits of the Brown family, along with Marty McFly and his girlfriend Jennifer.
Although the series is meant as a direct follow-up to the movies, many fans do not consider it to be part of the Back to the Future canon. Occasionally an exception is made for the birth dates and middle names of the characters, however. Unlike most films turned cartoons, did feature some original actors voicing their characters from the films, notably including Mary Steenburgen as Clara Brown and Thomas F. Wilson as Biff Tannen. Though he does not voice the character in the animated body, Christopher Lloyd does appear as Doc Brown in the live action segments which open and close the episodes.
