Plot Overview

Though Emily insists her danger is real, no one believes her. Andy reminds Hal of Emily’s previous record of crying wolf. Camille realizes that Brad is actually putting the final touches on the church, determined to see something good in his life to completion. Brad tells her of his mother’s revelation, how he thought his sacrifice had given her another shot at life, but that she’s been in her own private hell just like he has this whole time. Brad’s convinced he’s fulfilled nothing his entire life. Deeply affected, Camille builds an emotional paean to Brad and helps him come to terms with his pain. The moment becomes fraught, Camille freshly aware of her feelings for this man, but Brad simply kisses her good-bye, wishing her a beautiful wedding. Concerned that she missed their meeting with Reverend Dansby, Ben shows up. A devastated Jack tells Julia how he feels like his life’s been a lie and curses his self-righteous behavior. With Julia’s loving encouragement, Jack goes to forge a reconciliation with his mother. After Dolores leaves, Brad arrives and the brothers come face to face. John threatens Carly’s new doctor, who tells her the deal is off. John warns Carly not to try anything else, and her fear that John may indeed get her child grows. Rather than going to AA, Andy holds to his “moderation” plan.
