Plot Overview

Margo and Sam wait to meet with James’ lawyer. Margo leaves, pretending to be suspicious of Sam, who claims to be in trouble and in need of James’ help. Kirk observes this and is floored by Sam’s betrayal. Lucinda gives Lily Holden’s wedding ring. Lily falls asleep and has a dream about Holden, waking with the feeling that Holden needs her help. Carly is with Jack when he wakes. Even in his weakened condition, he surprises her with flowers for Valentine’s Day. Carly is touched, but she is torn when Jack starts talking about a future together. Carly tells Lisa she is going for Jack and the money. In the police station darkroom, Nikki develops pictures she took before the escape. Andy thinks the pictures could hold a clue. David gives Emily a gift for Valentine’s Day, but she is preoccupied with her suspicion of David’s involvement with James. When she is alone, Emily discovers that James is the major investor in Thornapple, David’s new employer. Emily packs her bags and moves out.
