George Bluth, Sr is arrested by the SEC at his retirement party on a yacht. Michael Bluth expecting to be named C.E.O. after his father leaves the company is disappointed yet again and decides to take his son and leave forever. Tobias, after losing his psychiatry practice in Boston is forced to come up with something else to support his family.
