Plot Overview
Mitch agreed to be patient with Rachel. Rachel told Mitch and Alice that she thinks Mac and Jamie are going to be all right. Larry told Joey, Rick, and Philip to lay low while he called for backup after hearing a gun shot. Mac was shot by Lenny, who was shot by Jamie. Philip told Joey and Rick about Jamie's kidnapping. Lenny woke up and attacked Jamie, then held Sandy and Cecile at gun point. Kit accused Marianne of letting Jamie intrude in her and Rick's lives. Alice was relieved to hear from Rachel that Larry and the police are now involved in the hostage situation. Louise brought Amanda to the Cory estate to see Rachel. Larry told Philip to stay out of the way. Lenny had Hannah tie up Cecile, Sandy, and Jamie. Larry told Lenny and Hannah that the cabin is surrounded. Sandy convinced Lenny to send a doctor to the cabin. Philip had Leigh run an editorial for the morning paper about the hostage situation and to call Clarice about Larry being involved. Louise asked Alice to leave the Cory estate. Larry agreed to send Rick into the cabin. Kit, Marianne, and Alice were surprised to hear that Mac and Jamie are being held hostage. Sheriff Billings and Larry clashed over how to handle the situation. Lenny forced Rick to treat his injury. Sandy tried to convince Lenny to let Rick see Mac. Ada decided to leave work early to be with Rachel. Leigh called Clarice as Philip requested. Lenny refused to let Rick treat Mac or Jamie and gave Rick a list of demands to give to Larry. Mac began to wake. Rick told Larry, Joey, and Philip that Mac has been shot. Lenny asked Cecile how much it's worth to her to have a doctor see Mac.
