Plot Overview

Mitch told Jason that Rachel is getting a divorce from Mac. Blaine assured Sandy that she and Jerry are just friends. Jamie took a pill after remembering his last conversation with Mac at the Complex. Jerry was released from a free clinic with a lighter cast and prescription. Marianne noticed when Jamie lifted the keys to the medicine room to get more pills. Under pressure from Jordan, Jason urged Mitch not to sell his shares of the Sporting Life. Jason overheard Jordan make arrangements for Mitch. Sally kissed Leigh, who was upset over failing his history class. Philip threatened to go to Mac and replace Jamie as publisher of the Ledger. Jerry called Kit to let her know his condition. Jerry asked Kit to check on Clarice for him. Philip put Leigh to work at the Ledger. Jason told Melissa that he overheard Jordan's orders to have Mitch beaten up. Kit happily told Joey about her phone call from Jerry. Mac asked Jamie to decide which jobs he'd like to keep, since the rest will be delegated to someone else. Jason interrupted when 2 of Jordan's thugs barged into Mitch's office and beat him up. Joey accused Kit of being jealous of Jerry and Clarice's friendship. Cecile was angry with Jamie for not knowing his whereabouts, potentially compromising his job, and forcing himself on her. Jason exploded at Jordan for hiring thugs to beat up Mitch.
