Plot Overview

Rick injured himself when Linda brought him a patient he was unable to revive. Liz signed for some of Cecile's personal papers that were delivered. Mac gave Pat 2 projects during Cecile's absence. Rick recalled speaking to Russ about his previous addiction and refused Linda's help with his injury. Pat and Liz realized that Cecile's inheritance has run out and suspected Cecile is after Jamie's money. Mac thanked Larry for helping Jamie during his arrest. Larry refused when Mac offered him a job at Cory Publishing and admitted to working at the Arena. Rachel was more determined than ever to get Jamie away from Cecile after having dinner with Pat. Russ comforted Rick over losing a patient. Jordan showed Larry the ropes at the Arena. After discussing their respective relationships with their fathers, Russ suggested Rick stop pressuring himself to be perfect. Russ also suggested that Rick resolve his issues with his father, Taylor. Mac explained it was part of grooming Jamie as his successor when Rachel had misgivings about making Jamie editor of the Ledger. Sandy had more nightmares and dreams about Ilsa and Melissa. Jess ordered Jordan to have the dock project sold out or shut down. Jess felt Jason had potential after talking with Ilsa privately. Mac worried Rachel and Jamie's relationship might be ruined if she talks to Jamie about Cecile.
