Janice walked in after Brian told Mac that Janice was involved in litigation in New York. Kevin told Pat that Reena insists on staying in Dallas. Charley and Russ were concerned when Eileen almost fainted. Liz denied she had tender feelings for Jim, but Sylvie felt she and Jim cared deeply for each other. Mac refused to listen to Brian since Rachel was his source of info, but Janice stunned him with her confession about being Howard's mistress. When Russ subtly pushed Pat into befriending Kevin, she was interested to hear of his marriage troubles. Joey worried when Charley told him about Eileen's woozy spell. Rachel seethed when Brian sympathized with Janice. Rachel told Ada she was optimistic about Mac's reaction. Mac soured on the similarities between him and Howard, but Janice insisted any comparisons were misleading. Graham told Joey and Eileen her fainting seemed to be nothing but a normal reaction to the stress of Angie's situation.
