Plot Overview

Stuart found out that Anita wasn't going to the Harvest Dance because Bobby courted her parents. So, acting on his son's behalf, Stuart went to the high school to ask Anita to reconsider and go with Scott instead. All of Scott's classmates where there and when Bobby started to razz Scott about his father being a "dating service" to get Scott dates, Laura chirped in that Scott and her were already committed to going to the dance together. Edmund and Maria decided to start looking for children adopt. Jack explained to them the legal and emotional risks, but they were still gung-ho on adopting. Gloria encounted a young girl in the shelter who ran away from home and was pregnant. Liza continued to make her pressures as station manager. Erica, overcome by stress, called Dr. Kinder to give her more pain pills. Erica listened with deaf ears when the good doc told her to take only two pills with food. She took about half a dozen with no food. Apparently Dr. Kinder knows Liza because he took off when Liza started coming near. As a surprise, Dimitri flew Bianca in from Seattle to see her mom. Bianca was worried when her mother was trembling furiously.
