The Angel of St. Edmunds is the twelfth episode of the first season of Adventure Inc., and the twelfth episode overall.

Plot Overview

The team are searching at Bury St Edmunds Abbey for a coffin containing the bones of St Edmund together with a solid gold statue said to have magical protective powers. On finding the coffin , the statue turns out to be made of iron. Contacted by a monk who believes the gold statue is with an old English family The Haycrofts, the team follow Byron Haycroft to London and a nightclub owner and antique collector Lucy Lyle. Cross decides to steal the statue using Gabriel's friendship with Lucy as a cover. Things begin to go wrong when she realises she has been duped and protection racketeers become involved.

Notes

Noel Clarke in a minor role here went on to star in Dr Who (2006) as Mickey Smith.
