Plot Overview

The episode begins where we left off, with Mouse, Skillet and the man-woman finding Rhoda's body, bleeding and shot full of arrows. The 3 come closer, but only to get some beer. The real Rhoda then comes along and tells them the body is a metal fake, and asks them not to tell anyone. Mouse pulls out his gun and points it at Rhoda, and he brings everyone back to his house. Skillet places turkeys by the man-woman's feet to cause her to get stuck in transformation mode. After Rhoda warns Mouse about what's possibly in store for them, Mouse demands to know what's up with the shark. Rhoda denies knowing a shark, and Skillet reveals an opening showing the shark encased in ice. All Rhoda says in response is that Roostre is the man, and that everything he touches goes bad. Rhoda also warns Mouse not to talk to the square guy, because he's incredibly rich. Rhoda only allows one more question, so Mouse asks what the frozen phone is about, and Rhoda smashes it saying "You don't EVER want to get one of those." Mouse asks what's up with Pronto, but Rhoda refuses to answer after only allowing one more question. Mouse tells Rhoda to call him when the square shows up.

Mouse and Skillet drive to Roostre's farm, where he's entertaining Golden Joe and the cop. They all have plenty of beer. Mouse is aiming a telescope at Roostre's head, commenting on how "f-ing cool" they are. We then flash back to Mouse's birthday, where his wife gives him the telescope as a gift. While Mouse played with the telescope, she attended to the crying baby. Suddenly, they were visited upon by the shadowy figure from episode 3, wearing a bowtie that Mouse's wife had gotten for him. The figure shot a dart at the female mouse. We come back to the present, where Roostre is telling the cop and Golden Joe a story about himself (see Happenings below for more on this), but then Mouse and Skillet break in and start firing their weapons. After tying up everyone, Mouse puts together his multi-shaft gun. All the while explaining that he doesn't know what's going on, feeling like it's all a big dream with sharks and clocks and eyes. Mouse also says that he has strange flashbacks to memories he never had, as if he were ripped from somewhere for unknown reasons. No one else understands, and the cop takes a puff of his joint. Mouse asks what Birmingham is, and Roostre explained that the night they got drunk. As Mouse is about to shoot his gun, the new guy appears and begins hypnotizing everyone with his dancing. Skillet puts on shades and headphones to avoid this. Meanwhile, the shark escapes from his ice prison, leaving behind an image of the city up in smoke.

Back at Rhoda's bar, the pink square has visited. Rhoda does as Mouse asks him and makes the phone call, only the shark is on the other line. The shark comments on how Rhoda is still alive, and that he won't like what's coming up.

Notes

  • The show is now giving out information during expository scenes, all the while distracting the viewer with visual elements that may be going on elsewhere. So more attention is required.

Arc Advancement

Happenings

  • Clock - Only in the shark's control room.
  • While Mouse and Skillet get ready to let loose, Roostre talks about a guy whose features he cannot make out attacking him. He then explains how he woke up in a room that was all white. A ceiling fan was spinning and he had something sticking out of his neck paralyzing him. The misshapen man then began pushing him toward the fan.
