12 Miles of Bad Road is a dramedy about the matriach of a wealthy Texas family. The family's real estate business and absurd wealth complicate even the simplest of family matters. HBO initially ordered twelve episodes of the series but production was shut down after six due to the writers srike. After the strike was over HBO decided not to resume production or air the already produced episodes. The producers are currently trying to sell the series to anther network.
