- Andrea's death was a last-minute decision on the work of Glen Mazzara, which no one supported and is believed to what to led to his dismal. Reportedly, the plan was for Andrea to take over leadership of Woodbury in Season 4.
- Holden was also critical of the storyline involving her relationship with The Governor, calling it "utter nonsense" and lamented the departure of the character from the graphic novels.
