The Invisible Man (1975) is a sci fi adventure series that aired on NBC. It chronicled the adventures of Dr. Daniel Weston, a scientist working for the Klae Corporation. Daniel is trying to develop an invisibility ray, and has succeeded in making animals invisible for short periods. He finds out that Klae want to sell his invention to the military, so he goes to his office, makes himself invisible and then destroys the machine, thinking he could escape before later becoming visible again, but the effect has become unstable and Daniel finds that the effect is not wearing off. He has to have a mask and two hands made by a friend who specialises in prosthetics, until he can find a way to reverse the process.
