Make Room for Daddy is a sitcom that aired on ABC for four seasons and CBS for seven seasons.
Danny Williams is a nightclub entertainer who doesn't have time to spend with his wife Margaret and his children Terry and Rusty.
Upon the start of its fourth season, the show became known as The Danny Thomas Show. With Margaret and Terry written out of the show (Margaret had died off-screen between the third and fourth seasons after her portrayer Jean Hagen left, while Terry got married and moved away), Danny married Kathy and adopted her daughter Linda.
The show's theme song is a big band rendition of the traditional Irish folk ballad "Danny Boy".[1]
