Plot Overview
Emmet's in a bit of a quandary trying to decide what to get his wife Martha for their 25th wedding anniversary. He's asking around for ideas and when he hears that she wants a mink coat, he just doesn't understand why she would want something so extravagant or how he could possibility afford it. When Flora the waitress overhears Emmett talking about it in the diner, she tells him that a good friend in Mount Pilot could sell it to him wholesale. He tells Martha he's going out with the boys for the evening but she sees Flora getting into his car she assumes the worse. To complicate things even further, when Emmett gets to the furrier he realizes that he can't afford the coat even at wholesale prices but by then, Martha thinks she's getting the coat after all and he has to scramble.
