Stingray is an children's animated sci-fi program that aired on ITV. This was another puppet show from the world of Gerry Anderson. Filmed in Supermarionation, it told the story of Stingray, one of a fleet of high tech submarines, that went on missions for WASP - the World Aquanaut Security Patrol. Captained by Troy Tempest, ever on the look out for trouble on the high seas, mainly caused by his arch enemy, the mysterious X20.
