Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery is a character from Grey's Anatomy played by Kate Walsh. She was introduced in the season finale of season one and remained on the series as a billed character until the end of season three when Walsh left the series to star in the Grey's Anatomy spin-off series, Private Practice. She later returnes in episode 4x13 for a surgery, and appears in the crossover episodes 5x15 and 5x16.
