Good Morning Television (GMTV) is a British TV station and ITV franchise that broadcasts from 6:00am to 9:25am every morning. The station launched on January 1, 1993 after outbidding the previous licence holder, TV-am. It was first intended to be called Sunrise Television but as Sky News's Breakfast programming also went by that name (and still does), Sky protested, resulting in the change of name.

GMTV targets a wide audience and its programming reflects that, from children's programming to lighthearted talk, from hard news to entertainment news. As a result GMTV reaches approximately 10 million viewers a week making it "Europe's Biggest Breakfast Show".
