Trivia

The Show

• First appearance of the Ice Warriors who would go on to become recurring antagonists throughout the series.

• Episodes two and three of this serial currently remain missing. The other episodes exist in the BBC Archives as 16mm black & white film telerecordings. They were recovered in 1988 and were found at the back of a cupboard at Villiers House in West London which was being cleared out due to BBC Enterprises moving offices.

• Unusual, the episodes are divided by simply "One", "Two", etc, sans a preceding "Part" or "Episode".
