A for Andromeda is a science fiction drama. An extraterrestrial radio signal is received, containing specifications for a supercomputer. Once built, the machine evolves into a messenger that studies human society and biology and produces an artificially grown young woman that is a clone of a killed lab tech.
Except for a few surviving fragments, all recordings of the series have been lost. It was followed by The Andromeda Breakthrough.
