Mockumentary

Mockumentary is a style of television programs where a fictional program is made to look like a real documentary. The term is a portmanteau of 'mock' and 'documentary'. For the most part, the style is used for comedic effect. Well-known examples of mockumentaries include the British and American versions of The Office.
