Basic Information
Daniel Desario is a junior at McKinley High and is the unofficial leader of the 'Freaks'. Like his fellow Freaks he's into rock music, loafing, and getting stoned. He comes from a poor family and has to help take care of his crippled father. In the series, Daniel has to deal with the consequence of his lifestyle and contemplate changing his ways.
Daniel is a nonchalant individual who cares little for schoolwork. He drifts through classes, surviving by any means that he can. He feels put upon by the world and realizes that he could and should do more with his life. He has a tempestuous on-off relationship with Kim. Daniel was the first to welcome Lindsay as one of the Freaks.
