Willa's Wild Life is an animated children's show. It began in 2008 on Discovery Kids and soon was optioned to NBC (Saturdays) and Ion (Thursdays). It airs on qubo (first subcarrier of Ion affiliates) at varying days and times.
Willa is a sweet little 9-year old girl who brings home stray exotic pets instead of kittens and puppies like other kids. Willa manages to get into trouble, but thanks to her animal friends, her patient father and her own sense of right and wrong, Willa eventually wins the day.
The series is based on the book An Octopus Followed Me Home, written and illustrated by Dan Yaccarino.
