From The TV IV
Where do you find all the images for each episode?
In the case of Arrested Development, I get the from the DVDs. Also be sure to sign your posts. Keeps things more friendly around here. --Fezz 15:52, 9 Aug 2005 (PDT)

[edit] Arrested Development Episode Pages
[edit] 1
Hey, is there a reason why Co-Starring got its own header for the episode pages? I had some ratings info to put for the first season episodes, but that normally goes under Trivia, and they don't seem to have Trivia headers, either. Just curious on what you were planning on doing with the pages. --Wizardryo 18:41, 9 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Well I thought that it was semi important information. Who doesn't want to find out where specific actors/actresses guest starred in various episodes. That was one of my favorite parts of tvtome. But I'll change the formatting to fit the gernal one. Is there a place for this? --Fezz(Ryvius) 19:03, 9 Aug 2005 (PDT)

If it's an important Guest Star like Lucille or Barry, you can lop him/her with a special mention in the trivia page, but, otherwise, I don't think we should give special mention to someone like J. Hunter Ackerman because he got picked to be a protestor.
Go here for an example. You may have to refresh to see the latest update on it. --Wizardryo 19:17, 9 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Sounds good. Add your rating information.
- There are both good and bad aspects to the guest star linking.
- Bad: There are going to be a heap of hanging links - especially for characters like "Man in shop".
- Good: If it's a recurring guest star, the person editing will only have to add a single page, and no more editing will have to be done to point there.
I've changed 100_Centre_Street/Bobby_And_Cynthia to only link to actors names, not the character names - and it seems the best solution.

Check out my User_talk:Coolbutuseless. Right down the bottom there's a "Style Modifications" section. Edit to your satisfaction. -- Coolbutuseless 09:53, 15 Sep 2005 (EDT)
[edit] law and order
- See Talk:Law and Order for the autogen report. If there are still issues with capitalisation, let me know which ones. I'll try and change my scripts and then autogen them again (rather than having you hand edit them). -- Coolbutuseless 12:41, 15 Sep 2005 (EDT)
- I've fixed the season|*a stuff and the stuff in the scripts. I can regenerate the lawandorder pages if you wish. (although I do see that you've edited a lot of them by hand). -- Coolbutuseless 21:05, 15 Sep 2005 (EDT)
[edit] capitlisation still.
have a look at User:Coolbutuseless/Autogen
nobody's touched the capitalisation rules. if you want "that" and "from" to be uppercased by default, edit the list there and append a note. I don't care either way. but if it's set by default, it means you won't have to change them manually.

I know, I can't help myself sometimes. I can find no clear solution. --Fezz(Ryvius) 02:17, 17 Sep 2005 (EDT)
[edit] episode tables
i only found out about the new episode table templates the other day - wish someone had told me :)
BTW. In the episode tables, the first number is the number in the show, the second number is the number in the season. So where autobot had generated something like: | 41 || 1 || The Cabin Show || September 19, 2005
You've changed that to:
That first number should be 41 not 1.

I only removed the Amazon link that Pendragongrntp added. Pendragongrntp removed the other links.

Thanks for fix the grammar of the 31 Minutos article. English is not my native language and that page is important to me. --Atoon

[edit] AD images aspect ratio
I would like to assume you know what you are doing but, er, the images you have uploaded for Arrested Development need to be adjusted for aspect ratio. Currently they are in 720×480 (raw NTSC DVD frame?), i.e., 1.5 : 1 instead of 1.78 : 1, and look accordingly distorted. I tried overriding both dimensions with , but that still preserves the original aspect ratio and produces 253.5×168 at the HTML level. —Naddy 21:34, 27 March 2006 (EST)
- Check the picture on the Shock and Aww page. Is that more what you're talking about? I had no idea my dvd screencaps weren't the correct size. --Ryvius 22:12, 27 March 2006 (EST)
- Yes, that's it. The other images need to be adjusted the same way (spread horizontally or squished vertically). —Naddy 06:24, 28 March 2006 (EST)
- PS: The raw resolution of DVD image frames is always 720×480 ("NTSC") or 720×576 ("PAL") and the aspect ratio must be adjusted for display in both 4 : 3 ("fullscreen") and 16 : 9 ("widescreen") format. —Naddy 09:01, 28 March 2006 (EST)
[edit] Doctor Who 28x01
Argh! We just suffered a major edit clash on Doctor Who/New Earth. Anyway, please delete Image:DoctorWho-28x01.jpg (or alternatively use it). —Naddy 21:28, 16 April 2006 (EDT)
Funny we picked almost the same screenshot. I'm happy with either. You can throw a coin. —Naddy 21:48, 16 April 2006 (EDT)
Doctor Who/Christmas Invasion or Doctor Who/The Christmas Invasion? Currently the article is at the former, but the season 28 links point to the latter. —Naddy 14:08, 17 April 2006 (EDT)
- Also, both "(The) Christmas Invasion" and "New Earth" are identified as "the fourteenth episode of the 21st century version of Doctor Who". —Naddy 14:14, 17 April 2006 (EDT)
