[edit] Plot Overview
Bobby goes out to feed Tiger, but the pooch has run off, destination unknown. The family pools their resources to find their beloved dog before he goes missing forever.
These efforts include:
- Pooling their allowances to buy a "lost and found" ad in the newspaper and post a $42.76 reward.
- Upon learning about a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood, and fearing that the suspect(s) responsible may have dog-napped Tiger — Mike had commented in an earlier episode that Tiger was a good watchdog — set a booby trap for the burglars. However, the only person the trap catches is Alice.
- Combing the neighborhood and — through a series of telephone calls — tracking the dog's movements after getting a tip that Tiger has been spotted.
Eventually, the Bradys corral Tiger at a neighbor's house ... fathering a litter of puppies with his girl(dog)friend!

[edit] Behind the Scenes
- Barry Williams, in his book, "Growing Up Brady," remarks that by the time this episode was filmed, it had been several months since Tiger's real-life death, and that several replacement dogs had not worked out. However, the producers did not want what was seen as a perfectly good script to go to waste. Despite being the episode's central character, Tiger's on-camera appearances were relatively limited.
[edit] Allusions and References
- Tiger's real-life death — Bobby's remark about worrying about Tiger being struck and killed by a car is a coincidental allusion to the original Tiger's real-life death under similar circumstances.
