From The TV IV

Season Eleven of Survivor takes place in Guatemala in the ruins of the Mayan Empire. Its official title is Survivor: Guatemala — The Mayan Empire. This season returns to a more traditional format, with two preset tribes from the start, named Yaxha and Nakum.

Both Jeff Probst and Mark Burnett promise huge twists and recreations of the franchise with this season. One of the biggest twists this season is that Bobby Jon Drinkard and Stephenie LaGrossa from Survivor: Palau return as castaways.
