Big Trek, Big Trouble, Big Surprise is the first episode of the eleventh season of Survivor, and the one hundred fifty-seventh episode overall.

This season premiere, which was only an hour long, returns to a more traditional format of Survivor. The two tribes, Yaxha and Nakum, have already been preset.

It's the beginning of the new season, and new adventures!

One big surprise is that Bobby Jon and Stephanie from the previous season have returned, and are each on one of the tribes. It appears they, too, are in the game, and vying for a million dollars.

The first competition was an 11 mile hike through the woods, for the 'best' campsite.

For immunity, the challenged involved paddling out to get a torch, and hauling a boat up on the shore. During this, Jim injures his bicep!

Jim is voted off likely due his injury, as well as being the oldest member of the tribe.
