Season One of Superjail is set to premiere in September 2008. An incomplete cut of the first episode of the series, "Superbar," was broadcast on April 1, 2008. The early version of the episode included a timestamp at the bottom and temporary music in place of the theme, which hadn't cleared legal according to subtitles.
