A rescue mission is sent to get Data who is trapped on 19th century Earth, pursuing the aliens from Duvidia 2. The rescue team gets mixed up with Samuel Clemens and also discovers that Guinan was on Earth during that time.

We find out that Guinan was on Earth for some time during the 19th century. We also find out that some of her wisdom about Picard and things Enterprise stems from this encounter -- show knows/will know things about Picard before he knows them.
