[edit] Plot Overview
Whilst attempting to create the world's first anti-gravity device in his basement, genius student Quinn Mallory accidentally opens the vortex to alternate dimensions. After a successful test run he invites his friend Wade Wells and his lecturer, Professor Arturo, to slide with him. Increasing the power for the extra people, the vortex moves outside the house and sucks up Rembrandt Brown who was driving past the Mallory house. Unfortunately they land on a world that has undergone a natural disaster and must leave before the timer counts down to zero, which at first seems to have no consequences. But are they really home?
