Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins is a live action TV movie slated to premiere on Cartoon Network September 13, 2009. It is in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Scooby Doo's premiere on television.

The movie tells of how Scooby and the gang met. Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy are students at Coolsville High, where they are expelled for staging a practical joke using phony ghosts. So that they can clear their names, the gang starts out on solving a mystery with the help of Shaggy's rambunctious Great Dane puppy, Scooby Doo.
