Reno 911! (2003–present) is a series lampooning shows like COPS which follow the lives and duties of police officers in various cities. To keep with the unpredictable nature of the shows that the series parodys, the show is written with vague guidelines to the plot and locations and gives the actors free reign to entirely improvise the dialogue.
