Mike, Lu & Og is an animated comedy that aired on Cartoon Network.
Micheline Mavinsky, a streetwise girl informally known as Mike, had been a parochial school student in New York. She suddenly finds herself, via a school transfer, on a tropical island full of peculiar inhabitants. Lu is the spoiled brat diva daughter of Margery who would love to see Mike get sent back to the streets of New York. Her pet turtle Lancelot is long-sufferingly consigned to her but he adores Mike. Og is a quiet spoken inventor in a loincloth. The series is essential a culture clash, with Mike dealing with living off the fat of the land, devoid of hot dog stands, TV and the internet, and the island people grasping with Mike's ideals of life.
