This page is a timeline of any events that were shown during flashforwards in season 4 (and the season 3 finale) as well as some flashback events from season 5. It starts right after the island disappears from its previous location and runs until Jack and Ben meet at Locke's funeral home. See the Season Five timeline for later events.

Since there are very few on-screen indications of time and date of the occurrence of events, much of this page is open to interpretation and additional conjectures. Currently, this article is compiled with information from the episodes themselves and interviews with producers and writers of the show as well as the text commentary on the ABC repeats of the episodes.

He tells all of them but Walt that they have to go back to the island. Ben then attacks his driver and Locke ends up in Jack's hospital where he also tells Jack he has to go back.
