Jonny Quest is an animated adventure series (considered to be the first cartoon of its type) that originally aired in prime-time on ABC. Though only lasting for one season, it has since had a long life in re-runs on the Saturday morning line-up, eventually appearing on all three major U.S networks and several cable channels.
