- "I Am Woman" — The episode title is a pun on the 1972 Helen Reddy song and the first line from the song ("I am woman, hear me roar ...").
- Sesame Street — A baker comes out of a kitchen, holding a stack of banana cream pies and singing this fact ("TEN ... BANANA CREAM ... PIES!"), after which he is tackled in the middle of Lois' catfight with Gloria, a parody of the Baker couting segments seen during the early years of the long-running children's television series.
