Chris Has Got a Date, Date, Date, Date, Date is the fifth episode of the fifteenth season of Family Guy, and the two hundred eighty-first episode overall.
The episode is a satire on country and pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and the correlation between her songwriting and relationships with men. Here, Chris accepts a date from Swift to a school dance, only to later learn he was mere fodder for her latest song. Eventually, Brian and Stewie help Chris give Swift her comeuppance and expose her true motives toward dating men.
In a subplot, Peter gets a job as a Uber driver and soon finds that it is a dangerous proposition.

Plot Overview
Chris is looking for a date to the homecoming dance, but all the girls reject him. Seeing that his big brother is discouraged, Stewie suggests to Chris that he try asking Taylor Swift. "Yeah, right," Chris replies in essence, suggesting that he doesn't stand a snowball's chance of having pop music's most celebrated diva accept his date offer. But Stewie presses on and Chris decides he's nothing to lose.
Contact is made and incredibly, Taylor -- having never met Chris, let alone her being (as of this episode) almost 12 years older than the Griffin's eldest son -- accepts! The two go to the dance and have a great time, and Chris is left with memories of a lifetime ...
... until the next morning, when Chris comes into the kitchen and sees his family talking about a video Bonnie had shared on social media. It seems the video features Taylor Swift and is about Chris ... and it sure isn't flattering. In fact, the song that is performed by Taylor in the video features her as mocking, insulting and making derogatory comments about Chris, suggesting he is unsophisticated and immature ... all while playing herself up as the heartbroken girl who just can't seem to catch a break. Brian tries to get through to Chris that Taylor is nothing more than a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled diva who regularly does this -- dating men solely to bring out their negative traits, dumps them in short order like sacks of garbage, and then writes songs about them playing herself up sympathetically, all for massive profit, stardom, ego and attention. He suggests that Chris accompany him and Stewie to Taylor's mansion in Rhode Island to force her to admit the truth.
Indeed, when they arrive, Taylor -- who, instead of demanding that security have them thrown out or arrested -- welcomes them, before she freely admits that her songwriting about her "ill-fated" relationships are a habit. But then she tries to backpedal, stating she really did enjoy her date with Chris. The skeptical Brian and Stewie, along with a massively turned-on Chris (who just can't see the truth, at least as Brian sees it), are invited backstage to one of her concerts. There, she attempts to sing a "nice" song about Chris but is booed mercilessly by her fans. Chris tries to comfort Taylor backstage, but when she admits she would be willing to give up being a celebrity for his sake, he insults her. Realizing that this is his way of allowing her to continue being who she really is, they share a smile and she kisses him before going back out to sing her normal repertoire.
In the subplot, Peter is mistaken for a Uber driver when he borrows Brian's Prius to take the kids to school for Lois. He realizes this is an easy way to make extra money and accepts jobs taking passengers around town. However, after various adventures and misadventures though the city, Peter is attacked by taxi drivers and the car is burned. In the final scene, Brian calls for a Uber driver to take him (along with Stewie and Chris) home ... only for a badly beaten, bruised and bloodied Peter to arrive in the remains of the car.

- Taylor Swift songs:
- "Shake It Off": A lyric from Swift's 2014 hit song is used to form the episode title.
- "You Belong With Me": Stewie's video that bashes Swift is based on her 2009 top 5 pop and No. 1 country hit.
- Uber and other national network fare-based taxi services: The proliferation of pay-per-ride transportation services, including Lyft and Uber, is satirized.
