The glamorous star of the soap opera All My Tomorrows drops dead upon arriving at an awards show, due to drinking poisoned champagne. Amos and Peter have a plot worthy of a soap opera with suspects including the show's producer, the dead girl's co-stars (one of whom worked as a hit man for the CIA!), the show's sponsor (with whom she was romantically involved), and an obsessed fan (who went so far to knock out the limo driver and take his place on the day of the murder).
