At a banquet honoring his new fashion line, an icy designer is put on ice for good, thanks to a very tiny but very deadly metal arrow which was shot from the bow of an ice sculpture of Cupid. Amos and Peter investigate the man's scheming wife and brother, as well as a star model and a brusque photographer. Peter unwittingly jeopardizes the investigation when he falls for the model and lies to protect her.

The part of the murder victim, a fashion designer, was played by Nolan Miller, a real-life couturier who has served as the official designer for Aaron Spelling-produced series going back to the original Burke's Law.
